New build apartment and sound proofing tips

Hello! I've asked a question about noisy neighbours on here and got some advice to go to the property manager which I have. They responded asking for a recording of the noise which I've tried to do and it's just not picking up the way I hear it so I doubt much will be done (even if the recorder could pick it up I would imagine there isn't alot they can do)

The noise is kids running around but wow do these kids like to run. All day long. Then when we are all settling down for the night it seems they are amping up the chase. Honestly, they are kids so I don't blame them but this "thud thud thud" every hour I'm home is getting to me so much I feel like I'm going crazy!

Can someone please recommend some sound proofing options that muffle floor sounds? I don't know what's worth the money or if its even possible but I need to try something.

Thank you!

Can the property manager visit your apartment when the children are at home?

It sounds like they are very young kids if they are running around all day long and not school age.

I've read that some landlords have attempted to prevent such a situation by having a specific clause in the lease that all floors in a flat should be covered with underlay and carpets except in the kitchen and bathroom.

If the Part E soundproofing regulations and guidance has been followed, you should end up with a building that is correctly soundproofed.
