Bathroom layout question

Looking for help with bathroom layout. This is the floorplan the bathroom designer at wickes gave me, and it just doesn't enthuse me.
I'd like much much more storage, a bigger bath (but he tells me that is the max size they stock) and just something to wow me a little.
FWIW, the soil pipe is on the wall the loo is on, but the current loo is where the basin is (we aren't fussed about moving it after all, but it blocked access to the empty space behind the bath)
If anyone has suggestions of other places, we would love them, but need to put a lot of the costs on finance so I think we are limited.

Looks like you could get a bigger bath along the wall it is on 1800 maybe. Then perhaps built in storage at the end, something like the attached.

^What she said

1750 is standard bath length. 1800 is quite usual. Don’t accept 1650, that used to be called a compact bath (I bought one years ago because that was all we had space for).

Yes to a longer bath - I wonder if it's the squared off wider bit that is limiting the length?

HOWEVER, if you go with the sensible suggestion of storage at the end, check the opening of the shower screen and sink. We decided we didn't have space to do it, and so ran the counter all the way to the wall, across the end of the bath. Ours was more like 20cm tho.

We really like this!! I showed DH and we both agree - thanks

I suppose we could also try and shoehorn the basin onto that small gap at the end of the bath, then have storage all around the loo; but I think it may feel squashed.
The other option we considered was to leave loo where it is, and put the basin on the same wall as the door, and have two units (it's 130cm and the units are 60cm each) and then more units on the wall. We think if the loo isn't boxed in, it will sit much further back and then, although it would be a squeeze, we could still get to any storage behind the bath (although probably leave it as infrequently used items)

Try to get a longer bath, we have a very small main bathroom for the size of the house and couldn’t go bigger than 1650. I regret it.
Doing up bathrooms isn’t cheap and I would want to be enthused.

Don't put the basin in front of the window if you can avoid it. Where will you put a mirror? Some people want to stand in front of the sink to shave, trim beards/moustaches/sideburns. If they have to choose between being in front of the sink and being in front of the mirror, something (bathroom or face) will get messy!

I think you could fit a separate corner shower in if you don't mind the toilet being next to the bath.

So bath goes under the window, corner shower in top left, loo on top wall in-between shower and bath with the soil pipe running through the boxes in bit under the bath, sink on bottom wall.

You could have a shelf bit at one end of the bath to store stuff in.
