Hi , we are looking for a new kitchen and need some help.
We had a look at Magnets yesterday and liked it very much. I wanted the wooden one but price is too high and now thinking about Ambleside Fern or shaker. Our kitchen is not very big, it’s 2mx3m wide and fitted to L shape. Do you think we could have it fitted in U shape and add some storage. I haven’t planned something like this before and I understand it was cost us between £20k to £25k.
Also does anyone know if magnet kitchen has trade discounts? Thanks

Is it a dedicated kitchen space, rather than open plan kitchen/diner. Have you got a floorplan? That sounds like too much for a kitchen that size. I've heard that Magnet are really good at cabinets and they make them in-house, but I noticed worktops were ridiculously expensive -£800 - 900 for 3m of solid Oak for example. You can get the same thing on ebay for £200. Also you can get a trade account if you ring them up and ask for one which will knock more money off. They also offer a free no obligation design service which I used, and they had some good ideas. You could also look at Ikea but I don't think kitchens should cost more than £5-7k. Best of luck!

Look at a few different places. When last changed a kitchen we couldn't believe how much the price and quality varied. We originally liked Magnet but ended up using Jewsons. Much cheaper, great quality and good customer service. It was a few years ago now but definitely look around.
