Quartz Worktops - Do kitchen companies outsource the templating and fitting.

Hi Everyone

So if I chose my kitchen from a kitchen company including a quartz worktop, would the tenplating and fitting of the quartz worktop be outsourced? Is this usually what happens?

I like the idea of just using a kitchen company to supply and fit everything as to me it’s easier if things go wrong and then they can’t blame the other tradesmen but if the quartz is fitted by another company then it makes sense to me to go with a stone masons that I know has a good reputation? Or at least consider it.

I had ikea units and then sourced my own granite from an excellent local company. They outsource anyway and I prefer to deal direct rather than have a middle person in the contract.
also my personal feeling was that i could choose a better company rather than their contractor.
was also a lot cheaper!

Depending on your location here’s the link. Not quartz but they had some amazing marble, when we went to choose ours there was an uncut huge slice of marble outside, it was stunning!!

Thanks for all your posts. Went with ordering our quartz from our kitchen supplier even though I know it’s contracted out. In the end we were running out of time but I also found that a friend’s close friend had chosen the Sam kitchen supplier and is very happy with her quartz which greatly helped with our decision.
