Is it usual to try and view a property that is sold STC? Will EAs usually let you?

If you were the seller would you allow it?

So? If I’d pushed they may have let me view it, I chose not to. EAs are obliged to present their client with the offer even after they’ve accepted. Either way the feedback still useful to the OP, and the discussion is wider than the original question.

We were used as a stalking horse by one estate agent on a SSTC- he implied the buyer was having a financing issue but it was all BS. We shoukd have known better.

I have the exact same question!!

I have seen posts about only accepting higher offer under sold STC. Not sure if the agent would still arrange viewing or not though.
(Could be seller wants more money or the agent wants more offer for higher commission...)
