We’ve recently put our house on the market and we’ve had the 360 degree photos done - where you get a 3D tour of the house - as well as still photographs. The 3D viewer is great but the still photos aren’t and I’m concerned that these are the things people see first. The photographer turned up early and took the outside photo before he came into the house and I’d had time to check it. As a result there are large bins in front of the house, the blinds to one room are shut and our car is in front whereas we would have moved it. To quote a cliché it doesn’t have a lot of kerb appeal even though it’s a lovely house inside.
One of the big selling points we have is that we own a separate garage (it’s tight for parking on our street). The estate agent hasn’t included a photo of this, it’s mentioned in the listing but I think it needs to be shown. Also a couple of the photos seem oddly lit or filtered. I have a bedroom that is a soft pink but it looks quite a violent shade of pink in the photos, which is a bit off-putting, it looks fine in the 360 tour.
It was a rush to get the house on the market as we’ve seen a house we like. I’m not sure how firm I need to be with the estate agents about stuff like this as this is my first time selling. It’s been just over a week and we have one viewing booked in so far whereas the estate agents seemed really keen to get it and implied they had lots of people looking. Lots of people do appear to be clicking to look at it from the Right Move stats.
