Wallpaper with matching paint in adjoining room?

If you have patterned wallpaper in one room and paint in an adjoining room and they flow really well together, could I ask you to post a photo please? I'm trying to get some ideas.

In our last house I just painted or wallpapered each room with whatever I fancied but there was no rhyme or reason to it and no flow. In our current house all the walls are white, the carpets are beige, and it's boring.

I plan to put wallpaper up in the dining room that is mostly blue with peach accent details I'll paint the sitting room (which is open plan to the dining room via an arch) in blue. Then the kitchen, which also adjoins the dining room, I plan to paint peach (or else get peach tiles). Kitchen units, floors, and countertype will be off white. Do you think this will look nice? I'm not a natural when it comes to decor but want to get this right! Thank you.

Not the best photos, as just taken them, we had a party on Saturday, hence the random decorations etc

I've focused the wallpaper in the dining space yo make it a 'nook', the rest of the dining room is pink and the adjoining kitchen is dark green.
I also picked the mustard colour on the paper for the curtains. The Panelling is dark brown to match the kitchen units. It may sound odd, but it works.

You're welcome, again, apologies for the dodgy photos.

Your plan sounds nice, I think I might be tempted to flip the blue and peach, peach is usually a softer, more welcoming colour, so more associated with a lounge. Also, be warthog doing a coloured tile. We chose green because it's a classic colour, and associated with victorian houses. Peach tiles may go put of fashion very quickly. It's fine if you particularly love peach, but I'd it's just to match the wallpaper, I'd choose a more neutral colour for something permanent like tiles.

Best of luck a d hope it works!

I'll be warthog, Seaside3 (love that typo :-)). Ypu make a good point. Maybe white/clear glass tiles and light peach paint would be better. Thanks again.
