We are moving in a week out and still don’t have a sofa as currency renting. Where is the best place to get something quick that will still be comfortable and not too expensive if we decide to replace it in a bit? Haven’t seen much in local charity shops or on Marketplace so looking to buy something online. We have one from Habitat in our rented place which is super uncomfortable so probably not from there.

Argos

we wanted the Ektorp but did not realise that you had to bloody build it yourself, we were moving and did not have time for that

Building it was really easy and didn't take long at all.

If you don't mind having something that isn't really well-made, eBay is much cheaper and faster than ikea.

I'm in the property business and buy cheap sofas for our properties to dress them - if you type in "grey jumbo cord sofa" loads will come up, they're usually about £250 and deliver in a day or two. They're comfy and look ok but won't probably last years! If you want something a bit better quality the ikea ektorp is a good one.
