Guttering design

Any building design people out there?
I need a guttering solution that I don't think exists.
Guttering has been removed from the side of my house and can't be replaced as it was. Long story that I don't want to go into but we need something that does not extend beyond the roof tiles.
Seems unlikely to me, but does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Sounds like you need a hidden gutter or build up the wall to make a parapet with a box gutter behind. Both disruptive and expensive and will need scaffolding, and depending on the length of the roof the parapet could end up very high (therefore likely needs planning.)

Or if you have an overhanging eave, take the eave back by 150mm to give you room for the gutter without going beyond the original end of tile line.

Ah thanks for these options, will do some research and find some pictures There's a solution for most things I guess if you know who to ask!

The water rolls off the end of the tiles so if you want to catch it the guttering has to be at least partly beyond the edge of the tiles.

Otherwise it won’t work.

Im not sure of the age/ construction of your house ,but if its double skin with cavity then something like this works. The weight of the roof should be on the inside skin, so you cut the rafter ends off shorter than you would with normal overhanging guttering. The gutter then sits above the outside skin.
Its not difficult to achieve, depending on the buildings construction.
