Drying cloths in a flat

Not long moved into a small 1 bed flat. What are your tips on drying clothes without a tumble dryer?

Friends have suggested a dehumidifier, my current plan was to go next to a radiator when on with window open.. trouble is I've not turned the heating on yet as its not cold enough (live on south coast)

Any hints and tips welcome please..

I have a meaco ABC-12l.

I think it's great well built. The only thing I regret is not getting one with a HEPA filter as well - if you hate dust have allergies it may be worthwhile because you will get dust removal as well as dehumidification.

Maybe there will be some good black friday deals.

Edit : Also low running costs, about 4p and hour I think currently.

Another vote for dehumidifier. Use for days we can't dry outside. We have meaco dd8l. It's perfect. We put clothes horse in bathroom, switch on, shut windows and doors. Takes up to a few hours, no condensation, clothes dry perfectly.
