Biblical flood in the kitchen, help!

Help! Woke up to a flood in the kitchen. Emergency plumber worked out what the problem was (ripped hose in the bathtub) and stopped all water to the bathtub.

From what I can work out I have the following issues:

Who can say if you kitchen ceiling is safe? Who can make it safe? Is a plasterer qualified?

Who can say if there is damage under the floor boards? And what kind of person would fix that?

Do I need to get the electrics checked?

The water was flooding through the extractor fan and onto the hob which isn't working. If it dries out and starts working again do I assume that's safe? Or would I need to get that checked by someone?

Is the insurance company happy with pics or do they usually send someone out? They've been useless today, passed from pillar to post!

Anything else I haven't thought of?

Any and all advice gratefully received!

IME, insurance sent an assessor out within a couple of days. He had people who could come and check for damp under units and floorboards, which then determined what work needed doing, carried out by their contractors.

I would therefore also expect them to get someone to check the ceiling.

What a nightmare, hope you are ok!

Thanks for your response. I will keep on at them to find out if they will send an assessor
