Blinds/Privacy film/screen for large bay window

We've always had voiles and curtains which worked fine but now our cat has chewed and clawed through our voiles and they're completely ruined. It's a couple of hundred pounds down the drain and I'm not happy about it as you can imagine.

The cat gets the daily zoomies and goes nuts. I usually catch it just in time to open the back door so he can get out of the house for a mad run in the garden but the other day, he had refused to go out and I ended up nap trapped in a different area of the house. Caught the little terror mid rampage though!

Anyway, my question is, I have 5 window panels in the bay window, it's quite large. I've looked at blinds but with two young kids I'm not fond of the idea. The click fit blinds wouldn't really have anywhere to attach to either.

What could the solution be?

Try www.brume.co.uk/collections/all-made-to-mesaure

shutters are very good I think; not the cheapest option but I’m very happy with them.

A net curtain (as opposed to voiles) on a wire? They are much cheaper and I personally prefer them to shutters as they let in more light.

I have large 1930s bay windows. I have some roller blinds from Dunelm that are off white and semi sheer. In the daytime, I can see out but people can’t see in. At night time, with a light on indoors, people can see in, but I close the curtains then. They look a lot more expensive than they cost other than the plastic mechanism, but they will do while I wait for shutters.

Do you have a link?

I love these! I saw some others which were a bit too Kitch-y for DH but he's agreed these are lovely.

We might have to get some cheap roller blinds for the tops of the windows so would love to know what range they are if you have the link @deedeemegadoodoo.

I have just used Brume for the bottom panels of my front windows - both for privacy and stopping my dog barking at everyone who goes past. It is great and looks lovely

I have this rainbow window film from Amazon on the bottom half of all my windows. Much cheaper than other places but really fantastic- when the light shines through it leaves rainbows all over the carpets/walls! I've had them up 5 years now and look as good as when I did them. Fiddly to fit, but so worth it.

Dunelm Sheer Blind

I think these are the ones. They have a slight linen effect texture and can be cut down to size. We have them on all of our windows.

I bought similar for my niece but hers are brighter white. The ones linked are nicer.

White Sheer Roller Blind | Dunelm

Available in a choice of sizes, this sheer fabric roller blind is finished in white and features a corded mechanism. Please note: The width stated is for the fabric only, please allow an extra 3.2cm for the brackets and mechanism. Always check specific...

So I'm going with the privacy film but would need to put up blinds. The only issue now is to find blinds or something that is 1) child safe because my 6 year old will mess with anything whilst trying to climb, the 1 year old will also do the same and 2) fit all the panels and angles. It seems like most made to measure blinds have a minimum width and our panels are small, approx. 53cm.
