It's a floor plan one

Hi guys,
Looking for your wisdom on a mini redo of our bathroom area. Upstairs we have a old family bathroom that does need a re-do (it was the only bit that was not done by the last owners). Currently at the back of the house we have a spare bedroom, the bathroom and the toilet is currently used as a tiny utility room with a stacked washer/drier and some shelves. We often dry things in the huge landing outside the bathroom and it is quite a good place to dry things as it is at the top of the stairs.
The bathroom itself does have a full shower, bath, sink and toilet but very little storage and feel very cramped particularly with the door that opens inward. I am weighting up options. We have two very small children and would like to futureproof as the family grows (no intention to move or add space).

Option 1: Make small toilet and bathroom one large family bathroom. Move the washer/drier into a built in cupboard in the corridor we would include some shelving for towels.
Option 2: Turn small toilet into a shower room with a sink. Remove the shower from main bathroom and have a shower over bath. We would then have two showers and two toilets (very small under toilet downstairs.
Option 3: Keep laundry room as is (could be weird in the corridor?) and revamp bathroom but make it work better.
Option 4: redo rooms at back to make better use of space. But we do need to keep a spare room that can have a double bed (it would be for occasional use but is necessary).

Anyone got any comments - I think I am leaning towards option 2 but can't decide whether having the washer/drier in the corridor is strange.

Views welcome and floor plan is attached.

So, there are currently 3 toilets in the house?
I'd turn the toilet into a proper laundry room, and redo the bathroom keeping the floorplan pretty much as it.

We currently have two toilets (one downstairs and one in the main bathroom) and a tiny laundry room where the small toilet is on the floorplan.
My concern with the current floorplan is that there is a lot of wasted space (the corridor is huge). And would two showers be useful when the kids are older?
