Deep, wide bath?

We're looking for a bath for our new family bathroom, not freestanding as we want it "built in" and tiled around it;

The problem is that we're not small people (I'm a size 18 - all hips, and we're both tall). So we wanted a bath like our current one, that doesn't significantly narrow down at the bottom. Ideally around 50cm wide at the bottom would be great.

Has anyone come across a bath like this?

Generally baths come in 700, 750 or 800 widths, and standard length is 1700, though you can get 1800 (or shorter obviously but irrelevant here).

This one is 800x1800 and 545 wide at the bottom. I only glanced quickly so there might be other options on the website.

We had one very like the pp linked. Be warned, it takes a LOT of hot water to fill - more than a tankful for a properly deep nice bath, so needed the immersion heater on to heat up a second tank of water quickly after emptying the first tank load into the bath £££

go to s shop and try a few.
'water saving' designs tend to taper at the bottom so might feel narrow.
square bottoms need a shed load of water to fill.

good point on the water needed to fill... ours does take a LOT of water to fill, but controversially we don't mind "sharing" a bath so two of us will use the same water... it's more of a treat rather than an everyday thing...

Have you looked at Japanese baths? We've just renovated and have this in 1 of the bathrooms. The room was too narrow for a regular, long bath, but this fits in perfectly and provides a very deep bath. A real Japanese bath is basically just a large tub, whereas ours has a moulded seat and jets. Our 6ft 7 friend used it without issues!
