If you've got rid of your dumping ground conservatory and gone for a large, open plan kitchen...

... Where have you shoved all the crap that was formerly there?! The washing airers, muddy boots, tools, bikes, scooters, out of season stuff etc.

We don't have a garage so our conservatory is it. It's also on the route from the kitchen through to the back garden. So a thoroughfare.

We're looking to convert it into a sun room with proper roof on it. Maybe take down the double doors between the kitchen and conservatory to make it one massive space... But where will we put everything?!

Watched a Your Home Made Perfect last night (new series, ep6) where they did this and I really wanted to know what the did with it, esp as they got rid of their garage!

Shed for outdoor kit such as scooters. Create a wall of cupboards which can hold the other stuff. People often just have welly boot stands outside the door.

Or carve a bit of space out to make a utility room

In Australia, most of that goes on the back verandah. They are the most useful invention.

We do have a decking area immediately outside, and a couple of those Keter store it outs. Will need to give them a good clear out me thinks! We have a shed but it's nowhere near the house so doesn't get used for everyday stuff.

Would love to carve out a utility/boot room but not sure budget or space will allow.

Under stairs cupboard? Over bath airer?
Porch for boots?
