Planning Objections

Please can anyone advise if concern over use of the property (eg number of bedrooms increased by 3 times, for use to house more ppl to either rent out rooms/provide rooms for housing adults for councils) a valid objection? Plans are for double rear and side extention. Is concerns over car parking also valid? Thanks

Use of property - No. Unless it goes against local planning policy which restricts the amount of houses in multiple occupation (HMO) in the area. You could comment on size of bedrooms (if below local standards) and tenants access to amenity space.
Parking - Possibly. There will again be local policy of what number of spaces would be expected. You would have to site safety concerns rather than you not being able to park outside your house.
Overall, you should consult local planning policy and consider it against the plans to see if there are any genuine reasons for objecting to the application.

You certainly can object to the use of a building if that is what the application is for. What is the description of the proposal - just the extensions or something else? What is the current use of the property?
Car parking concerns are also a valid ground for objection.

You can also object to the extension - overdevelopment, overbearing, out of character, loss of daylight, loss of privacy.

Increased noise and disturbance might also be a concern.
