Tile first and then fit bath or other way round?(non standard bath)

We are getting this bath https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/arezzo-1500-x-750-modern-corner-bath
I always thought you should fit bath first and then tile around. However builder says with this one they will tile first and then fit as if we need to access bath in the future then we would have to break tiles to pull the bath out if we tile around afterwards (there is no access panel as it is all in one unit iyswim)
I worry that doing it this way won't be as watertight. Also we will lose valuable mm as tiles are thick and we are working with tight measurements in the room as it is..

What is the correct way to fit this type of bath? Thanks

Tile first

Yes i would tile first then fit the bath. Although it wont be easy to fix the bath into position and connect the waste ? Flexible waste ? Access from behind ? Looks tricky.

Assuming the builder / tiler is experienced with fitting this sort of bath then I’d trust their judgement on tiling first. If they aren’t and are just choosing the option they think will be easier for them, my concern would be that you’ll end up with a big gap / thick line of sealant.

Thanks all.
@ComtesseDeSpair - that's what worries me, he said he'd never fitted this type of bath before as usually they have a frame and panel, which I suppose is true unless a properly freestanding one... Hadn't thought of these issues when choosing bath of course!

With that shape I'd hate to tile after- all those thin curved slivers of tiles at the end....

Tile first. I asked my tiler to completely tile to the floor, because if I (or anyone else) ever want to change the bath, Im not left with the problem of a bath that's been tiled around.
