I'd like to get some advice on the following issue. We have got relatively large tiles (see image 1), and the idea was that the vertical grout line on the wall would be covered by the (mount of the) bath screen. This was all discussed with the tiler. In fact, it was their idea to do it this way, to avoid the grout line being visible. (You can see in the picture there are no other vertical grout lines visible on that wall.)
The 2nd fix has just happened, and the installer fitted the screen away from the grout line. The screen looks installed correctly, centre with the edge of the bath, meaning that - I guess - the grout line is too far over (see picture - i.e. grout line is too far over to the right). This is obviously annoying as it was all discussed with the tiler.
Do you have any thoughts what we could do? Maybe a small black 'box' or 'panel' could be fitted between the screen and the wall, slightly wider than the screen, that would then cover the grout line, without needing to move the screen left removed link The gap between the grout line and the edge of the screen is about 1.5cm, so e.g, a protrusion of about 2cm (from the screen towards the edge of the bath) would cover it. Of course, it needs to look 'natural'.
