Considering a new build

What do you think about this house? I've been looking all over London since April and can't find anything that ticks all the boxes. Am quite taken with the look of this. I could just about afford the 1.1k one (there are two going). To those in the know, is this property overpriced for Walthamstow? Any views more generally on this kind of new build property? I have no experience.

I've sent you a PM with more details. Houses in Annandale vary a bit in size width-wise - and then some have side returns done, loft conversions etc. There's a couple of others SSTC on Rightmove for comparison as well as lots on Rightmove sold prices. They tend to sell fairly quickly, even in recent months

It looks unfinished to me, like bare plaster and the ceilings still need to be fitted. Not my cup of tea at all. Sorry OP!

I’n much more of a traditional period/cottage style or luxury new build fan. I just don’t get architecturally stylish houses like this, but plenty of people will like it I’m sure.

Good luck with your house hunt.

It's an interesting house and I really like some aspects of it, but it's very expensive considering half the walls look unfinished and the garden is tiny.

They've done it in a way that requires minimum work e.g. no plastering, no paintwork. Will the walls look nice after a year, 5 years? Or will you have to pay for plastering, because you can't paint or wallpaper directly over those walls with so many nails showing.

The ceilings too, they look unfinished and I'm not keen.

I knew the area a bit as a student, and the Village is pretty but Walthamstow is a bit grimy. I can't believe the price of it and would expect it to be more in a place like Crouch End or somewhere.
