Quooker tap finish

Hi all, we are on the home straight with our Reno🎉! I'm still undecided on which quooker tap finish to go for? First thought is that the patina finish would match the kitchen, however concerned about the how delicate the finish would be (we are not a careful family 😕). Black would also work well and wondered if this would be the sensible choice? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Always feel the quooker tap is a waste of money. But people seem to like it (either that or they like their stealth marketing posts) so what do I know.

Anyway - black. It shows up scratches probably more than any other colour. I don't know about the finish on quooker taps, but I can tell you on a lot of stuff I have had (worktops, cars, floors, glasses etc) black is the worst colour to have.

Natural/stainless/silver probably is the best for not showing scratches, but it depends on the undersurface and what will show through when the scratch happens.

Check and see how much it is for the replacement tap/pipe assembly and not the entire thing - then if you do wreck it after a couple of years it may be low cost to replace.

Black taps show up limescale and can end up looking quite grotty. Too high maintenance for me

Thanks so far, OH has his heart set on a quooker tap, I'm not so bothered! Was thinking about getting the cold water filter, which I think would help with the limescale?
