Help please! I’ve broken a piece of kitchen panel and don’t know what it’s called- need to find a replacement.

Our kitchen has a lift off panel under the sink that allows access to the plumbing etc. It looks just like a drawer and almost everyone who’s been in here has tried to open it like that and had it fall on their feet.
The plastic latches that hold it on have cracked a little more each time this has happened.
The last person to do this was me, back from a week away and forgot how my kitchen works 🙄.
This time one of the latches has broken beyond repair. The trouble is I have no idea what to google to find a replacement. It should be a simple DIY job once we have them.
Can anyone help please?
Sorry about the poor quality pictures, the light isn’t right!

I think it’s a kick board

Do you know what make the kitchen is? You need the fittings from a drawer line (if it's a draw and a door) sink base unit.

They and find the manufacturer, look their number up and call their customer service directly tomorrow.

Not a kick board if it's at waist height.
It's probably just a standard fixing used in all sorts of kitchens/ places. Take the broken one to a DIY store and ask for an identical one.

Thanks, you're right, I should just do that- was hoping to get one without leaving the house!

If i understand you correctly, I've seen what you have described as a dummy drawer or a false drawer. You can get replacement fixings for them.

MMAMPWGHAP · 13/08/2023 09:40

Panel clip. Or Keku clip. If you’re lucky it might be branded.

RJnomore1 · 13/08/2023 09:41

Yep it’s a false drawer but you just need a new fixing for it. Take it to b n q and you should find one hopefully.

Can’t help but laugh at you forgetting how your kitchen works though!

Spotnessmonster · 13/08/2023 09:43

If you Google 'dummy kitchen drawer front fixing' there will be some that pop up that you can buy online.

FaintlyMacabre · 13/08/2023 10:07

Thanks all- a search for false drawer clips found the exact things! I’ll order them today and they should be on by Christmas…
