Help! I don't know what's wrong with my oven

The make of my oven is Kenwood free standing electric cooker KDC606B19/KDC66SS19

Basically my oven was on one evening and the fuse went and it somehow tripped the fuse and since then I've not been able to get any heat from the oven, everything else is working fine including the hob. I'm reluctant to get an engineer as it's going to cost over £100 purely for the call out charge before they undertake any work or replaces any parts.

I'm just wondering if it could be something simple rather than having to go down this costly route.

Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks 🙏

The element will need replacing, you can do it yourself. I’ve done it on ours a couple of times. Look up the model online, prob about £10-£15 for a new one.

Sounds like the element. I have changed mine following a you tube video.

Thank you very much. Have now ordered a replacement part. Fingers crossed!

May sound a bit daft, but does the oven have a built-in digital clock-timer? In a couple of prevous houses, if something went wrong with the power supply for any reason, the oven would not work untill the clock was reset.

Exact thing happened with our oven a few months ago and we ordered a new heating element and replaced it ourselves for £20 watching YouTube vids!

If the power goes off in my house, the oven won't work until the clock has been reset. It's a pain.
