New floor needed - Manchester recommendations?

We live in a small 3-bed Edwardian semi.

Ground floor is single layer original floorboards but too draughty and looks tired.

I'm in the dreaming / semi-research stage. Dreaming of herringbone but I accept this is probably way out of budget. We need 44-m2 doing. Insulation and hardwearing against mad toddler is a must !

Can anyone recommend a local floor contractor in manchester?

Or a local shop that does supply & fit?

What are people's experience with herringbone LVT?

Arighi bianci in Macc were the only people who would take on a complicated job - everybody else wanted the floor all prepped and ready to go. They were brilliant.

Thank you!

I don't know whether our foot would need sanding again as we head it done twice before.

But very much into yes people than the alternative!

Luxury Flooring Manchester - based out Whythenshaw way but came to me in Nth Mcr. I had hallway, dining room and kitchen done in Polyflor oak herringbone and it cost around £2500 I think. That was for tiles, screed and labour. It’s been down two and a half years and still looks brand new. They have a good Insta page.
