@Diggersandunicorns are they encaustic? Do they get stained at all?

What these fancy tile brands don't make clear at all is that encaustic tiles need sealing (and resealing) and can stain. Decided against them on the basis that I will be using and cleaning our bathroom and I don't fancy spending a fortune on fancy tiles that aren't fit for purpose. Also they are really heavy so I imagine would cost quite a lot to fit on a wall (probably no difference for the floor but I have no idea).

I looked at every fancy shop going and got my patterned floor tiles from Topps tiles. They were so good to deal with and took back unused boxes .
Worth a starting point . If they've got what you like it's good value

I got the wall tiles from local fancy place and they were awful, late delivery and only paid me half back on unused boxes and then under sufferance (my tiler did cock up the measurement but under the impression that all shops took returns)

@100Bees they’re not, they’re the porcelain versions. The blue ones are fine, I have them in the bathroom and a loo. The white and green though yes, the sides have stained a bit but having such white tiles in the hallway was a mistake and wasn’t planned. Was supposed to be those in the bathroom and blue in the hall but then the blue didn’t go with the kitchen when we put it in (the house was a total renovation project).

I steam mop a couple of times a week and twice a year scrub with sugar soap and they come up well. But I’ve got two young kids and a dog so it doesn’t last. Would have gone for something darker if I hadn’t already bought them.

I used them for one of our bathrooms and the website it a bit shit, but they were brilliant. I ended up getting some tiles that I had seen in a very high end London showroom (Domus Tiles) for about a third of the price.

I hate my Bert and May tiles because even though they were sealed they always always look filthy. It's basically impossible to get them clean. Avoid. I love the look but I am thinking about taking them up again (despite the eye watering cost). My interior decorator cousin says they are all like that and a total ball ache in real life.

Exactly. Never ever again. Bert and May tiles are basically unusable in real life. SUCH regrets.
