Bora induction hobs are fantastic if you have the budget

I have a Rangemaster pro deluxe 110 cm it was in my house when I bought it hardly ever used. Induction hob multi setting electric ovens etc. I’m a good cook I cook nearly everything from scratch and a wide variety of things. I’ve always had gas (no gas here). Many will disagree but I think the induction hob is a pile of crap. Its only redeeming feature is that it’s easy to clean and doesn’t get hot.
I recently stayed with a friend who had the cheapest possible gas hob what a joy it was!

Sadly probably not

I have a siemens induction hob and really like it.

I'm a keen baker and have a steam shot function on my oven. I like to think it makes my bread better! I would look at Bosch/ Neff or Siemens appliances if your budget reaches.

We replaced a built in ceramic with the cheapest induction. Imo the cheapest induction is better than anything else.

I have Bosch appliances and happy with both.
Make sure oven is self cleaning!
Eye level oven
a flat ceramic hob for easy cleaning.
previous appliances were Gaggenau and lasted over 30yrs but I was set on having an eye level oven when kitchen was overhauled otherwise they probably would still be going strong.

I also have a range master pro and I love it. Plenty of space to cook, easy to keep clean. Decent sized ovens.

I've lived with an Aga in the past and loathed it, and a standard gas oven/hob which was tedious to keep clean, and worried me in terms of gas leaks.

I cook from scratch, family cooking, baking, nothing too exacting and it's fine. Check your pans are compatible with the hob though.
