Underpinning - resin or building?

I have a bungalow that has moved 1cm over past 70yrs since it was built.
I have planning permission for a single storey extension at the back to add a kitchen, utility, WC and open up onto the v lovely, flat, private, sunny back garden.
The soil is sandy, and drains are shallow, broken / cracked. Survey suggests this is reason for movement. Also 4 conifers were planted along drain line (now removed). Definitely not coal-mining subsidence.

Underpinning - anyone had it? Resin? Or traditional?
I don't live in the house (was rented out) but am looking to make it my home now.

Are your insurers going to pay?
1cm, I doubt they are interested.

No, I own it outright. I wasn't applying through insurance.
Have you had underpinning done?

Insurance has nothing to to with a mortgage. You need buildings insurance regardless.

Do you have buildings insurance? Underpinning costs a fortune.
What damage do you have?

No, have not had underpinning done, however I was a builder so have worked on underpinning, albeit a long time ago.

Yes, I realise that I need building insurance 😁 I have it!
I've budgeted £20-30k but was really asking for experience of anyone who had used resin.
Thank you anyway, @C4tastrophe
