At what point did you stop browsing Rightmove?

We have recently had an offer accepted on a house, which we like and will, with quite a lot of work, make a great home.

However, I would far rather pay a bit more and move into something that is already 'done'. The trouble is that our criteria (period, certain amount of rooms, off street parking, good location, etc) means that virtually nothing like this has come up in the 3 months we've been looking. The house we've offered on will eventually give us all of that, but cost us £35,000 or more to get there.

I'm sure we will love the house we've offered on, but FOMO keeps me scrolling on RM. At what point did you say, sod it, stop looking 'just in case', because it's driving me mad!

I browse to check room dimensions and layouts. Love me a 360 tour!

many people are on Rightmove not for moving but for pleasure. The ultimate window shopping experience.

RightMove didn't even exist when I bought my house (mid 90s).
I have no plans to move.

I've browsed rightmove for >20 years, from its previous incarnation (findaproperty.com). In that time I've bought 2 properties and sold one.

We bought in 2019 and I still check it most days in our area. Looking for our next house and trying to figure out what we could sell this one for. Also just having a general chuckle about houses that are very over priced being reduced (but still overpriced) then taken off and put on as a new listing a week later at the same inflated price. Find it all very interesting.

7yrs living here and still on rightmove. To be fair we are looking to move next year but I can’t find anything.

Well, instructed solicitors today for the house we are buying, so having made the decision we are going for it, I'm going to try not to look at Rightmove for the 'perfect' house and just be content that we are buying a house which ticks a lot of our boxes. Wish me luck!

I bought my house 5 years ago and I still search Rightmove each week to check I made the right choice.

And my daughter bought a flat in London last year so now I check her part of London too to check nothing better has come on (at the same price).

Rightmove is my obsession, I have no defence.
