Cutting plasterboard to board out a new wall which is irregularly shaped. I got distracted by children mithering about lunch and bloody cut it the wrong way so that it fits perfectly with the wrong side of the board facing out. I haven't got enough to redo it.
I could bodge it with cutting it out of two bits but I'd have to add more wood to screw the edges to and I'd rather not.
I can't get a new board because I haven't a van and it would cost more than the board to have just one delivered (I ordered all I needed in one go to get free delivery)
Can I use it wrong way out? Or will that mess up the plastering skim?

Thanks, I did google and came up with nothing. I probably used the wrong search term. That is useful.

It’ll be fine.

Shouldn't even need PVA but some plasterers are just like that.

Thanks. I'm absolutely kicking myself. Had 5 walls to do - all irregular - and I got them all right except this one. So annoying.

Can it not just be turned around?

Worse than that’s been hidden behind a coat of plaster I can assure you.

id go for the G&T and forget about it if I were you…

No because it's not square and the shaping makes it one way only, which is the wrong way because I was distracted.

I will now go for a G&T as suggested 😆
