Any recommendations? Any no- nos? Also, can you get matching window blinds? Thanks - scared of making an expensive mistake!

Watching with interest. We had some blind people out today and they recommended perfect fit which they're going to do us a quote for.

We have intu micro blinds on ours. The person who fitted them said normal perfect fit / intu style blinds weren't suitable on our aluminium bi-folds as the frames would stick out too much. This means when the doors are open they can't fold against each other properly.

We were unsure about them as we wanted something adjustable like vertical or venetian blinds so you could angle them to let light in but stop glare, as the doors have the sun on them most of the day. With intu they are either up or down. It hasn't been a problem though as even closed they let a lot of light through (we went for plain white). We opted for the hive micro honeycomb style ones which also help keep heat in/out. They also hide the strings better.

A friend has panel blinds which are nice, but again either open or closed. Her doors aren't south facing though. With those you have far more choice of fabric and can match to curtains / other blinds.

Have a look on here for ideas, they also have an online visualiser on the homepage https://www.blindinglyobvious.co.uk/intu-micro-bi-fold-door-blinds

Perfect Fit

Too late to get integrated blinds?

notteallyme · 13/05/2023 09:22

Following with interest. We wanted click fit from blinds 2 go but the window panes are slightly too narrow for them.

Extensionrebellion · 13/05/2023 12:30

On perfect fit does the handle to pull the blind up and down stick out much? We haven't got much space.

Fraud so @Rainsdropskeepfalling
