House went up yesterday (obviously very early days!) but no requests to view yet. Obviously area and price will make a difference but how soon would you expect to have requests for viewings?

Ours went on friday evening. Our estate agent ( a friend ) text us at 7.30am on sat morning saying he had two people desperate to look. Sold in a few hours.

other houses though have never gone that quick

I think if it’s priced properly and you’re not being greedy and it’s a good offering it will sell. But most are being greedy on a sub par house.

@Tormundsbeard I am currently selling in Bucks. Been on the market for 6 weeks and only had 2 viewings in the first week, then nothing since. The agent says the market is slow, but this is another level... wasn't expecting it to be this bad.

As a buyer sometimes It take a while to get a viewing booked.

We have been actively searching and email the day they go live if it looks good but usually don't get a call back for a booking until the next day (with the best agent) and sometimes not at all (with the worst agent).
