Accumulator pump

Hello,
Has anyone had any experience with installing a cold water accumulator to boost the flow of water? Is it reliable? Is it quiet? We have ruled out a water pump because it is too noisy. Someone recommended this instead. We need to increase the water flow rate in the house when too much is used at once and we also need enough flow to reach the loft. We should have enough pressure for the loft but not enough flow. We don’t want a separate water system in the loft. Thank you

Yes we have one. Not had it for long, but basically they work without a pump or electricity so should be extremely reliable. No noise as there's no pump, they just utilise natural water pressure.
Has worked brilliantly and completely sorted out our water pressure issues

Thank you for replying. A question for the plumber later on, if we go for this, but where did you install yours?

We had an alcove in the bathroom that it fit perfectly into so it's in there. We've stayed in a holiday cottage that had one fitted in the bathroom too (actually that's where we found out about them!), they sacrificed a part of the room and built a little cupboard around it to box it in.
they shouldn't need much/any maintenance once they are in so dont need to be particularly accessible.

Great, that’s given us some ideas. The most obvious place next to the boiler means losing much needed storage otherwise.
