New build - how much energy did you *actually* save

I am considering a new build house - in central belt Scotland. Obviously built to latest building regulations and with small area solar panels. The developer is clearly over stating the energy savings.

I currently live in a 1970's house with a new boiler, double glazing and a well insulated attic. The cavity wall insulation is basically dust now and not doing much.

Both houses are similar size, within 20 miles of each other, the new one will get more sun too.

How much did you save if you moved to a new build - and compared to what older house?

We’ve never had an older house to compare but I know that in our new build there are 4 of us and our annual electricity useage is 2711kwh and gas is showing as 9226kwh

Does it not give an estimate on the home report? You could compare that to yours or a house similar to yours.

I find the 'estimated as built' energy costs bear no resemblance to real world, so the homebuyers and sales patter I don't take too seriously.
Thank you QforC, l can compare that to my usage.

Can't find the details but we are a three bed semi new build and octopus suggests we are like a typical 1 bed flat in terms of energy usage
