Fixing a window when you've got shutters

We had shutters installed and now need to replace a blown window pane behind one of them. Does anyone have any experience of doing this? I'm a bit worried that the shutters will have to come off to do it, but I guess the window fitters should know how to deal with this?

(I did ask them but they won't say whether it's doable until they've been round to have a look).

We have shutters and we can remove the pin in the hinge and lift the shutter away. Then there is just the outer frame left.
A window fitter may not even have to remove the shutter.

@TwoLeftSocksWithHoles that's useful to know, thanks! Hopefully ours can do the same, will check it out.

@BobBlack I'm not sure what you mean about blinds? I'll definitely get a few window fitters out to check and quote though :)

We recently had all our windows replaced

The shutters were removed and replaced

They seemed to know what they were doing

I just had a blown pane replaced and I have shutters. They weren't taken off to do it and it took them 15 mins

Ah that's great, thank you!

The whole window doesn't need to be accessible, just the beading round the edge that holds the pane in place.
