Where best to buy a (rimless) loo?!

I need a new loo and would like to get a rimless one as they’re much more hygienic and easier to clean. Wickes has one that looks nice but not all the reviews are good. Where would you buy one? I want to get something good that will last. (I prefer rounded designs rather than squarish ones.)

I've recently bought a Roca rimless rounded WC. I bough it from City Plumbing - but we got it on a good deal as part of a large order, there may be cheaper places to get it online.

Had it for a year now and pleased with it

Something like this?

We've just had our bathroom done and I agonized over choosing a toilet, I've read so many poor reviews of modern water saving toilets that just don't flush properly.

In the end we went for the Rak Resort Maxi which is a rimless comfort height toilet. We are so pleased with it. Despite using much less than water than our previous toilet the flush is actually better.

Why are rimless toilets more hygienic?

I recently refurbed my bathroom and obviously didn't put enough ~any~ thought into the toilet.

We hate our rimless toilet. The water does not flush all the way around effectively which means it just does not flush properly. The lack of rim (or something else about the angle) means that urine collects under the toilet seat constantly. I couldn't say if this is from the male or female members of the family....!

Thank you very much for the replies.

I think the idea with rimless loos is that bacteria don’t collect under the rim. Interesting though to hear your experience that urine collected under the seat!

I had my toilet room refurbished three years ago and bought a rimless toilet from B&Q. I'm happy with it and would choose a rimless one again.

I wouldn't buy one again, the seats are harder to replace, the parts go out of production so can't be repaired and it doesn't flush properly most of all. Traditional ones are so much better!

I chose mine for aesthetic reasons, big mistake

Try a local plumber's merchant - they have access to lots of suppliers and can order whatever you want which may not be on display - also from less "trendy" manufacturers.
