Bathroom floor tiles - to keep or not to keep

Anybody watching speeches in UN will be sure to notice the green tiles in the background. Well, we have them on our (small) bathroom floor. They are Verde Serpentinite from Valle d'Aosta. The colour and veining is always various, as you can see from the attached image. Mostly I think they do look hideous, and so do people commenting on why they are not replaced in the UN.

So here is our dilemma. Refurbishing the bathroom, do we replace them or keep them, as they are iconic? Obviously, it is cheaper to just keep them. Would they be improved (or even attractive) with more stylish bath basin and loo, and with greyish white wall tiles/paint and wood accents instead of the existing tan/beige? Or any other suggestions? Or is it hopeless?

Keep

I love them

Keep. It's not a hideous style. It can be nice with a contemporary simple style, nothing fussy.

Keep. And us it to do videos to confuse people.

I think would look stylish with white and chrome and dark wood.

Green bathrooms

Going against the majority here, I really dislike them. You're going to the expense of refurbishing a bathroom, why keep them - you'll just have a new, expensive bathroom you dislike.

Keep because that type of veining is in fashion right now.
