Torn vinyl flooring - quick repair options?

Our washing machine broke and the vinyl underneath has torn, which is making it very difficult to get the (thankfully repaired) machine back in under the counter. We knew it was torn, and previously have ironed down the vinyl and stuck gorilla tape over the top, which doesn't seem to be working this time - it just rucks up and the machine won't go in beyond it, so doesn't fit under the counter. Can I just superglue it down instead? It's under the machine, so won't be visible. Or is there a better adhesive I can get from B&Q/something else I can stick over the top for a smoother finish instead?

I’d try Gripfill rather than superglue. Seems to stick to pretty much anything I’ve tried it on. Nice and cheap too.

Do you have any spare pieces of lino if so you could do a rectangle piece which goes over the rip longer than the machine but between the legs width wise overlay the rip put the machine back and cut the front to just under the machine

Thanks for the suggestions!

Flooring has been stuck back down with adhesive (similar to GripFill but a smaller tube) and has something heavy on top of it in the hope it will stay flat and stick. I'm going to try sticking something smooth over the top of it as well, but am giving it bonding time first. The washing machine is massively in the way right now!

Yeah give it a day or so to go off properly before you slide that thing about on it. Good luck!
