Need advice on boundary dispute!

OK, so we have lived in our house for the last 16 years. We live in a private road (we pay for upkeep of the road) . The area next to us is being developed. Prior to this, none of us were permitted to take down trees (ancient woodland). Suddenly all the trees in this area that has been bought by the developer are "diseased ' so can be taken down.
We have seen (and reported) badgers and bats in this area , but no badger and / or bat survey was down.
Me personally , I have no actual objection to having 2 houses next to us, but I feel like due diligence was not done.
Nevertheless, we tried to be accommodating, but they pulled down our hedge, and this led to a boundary dispute. We ended up paying to have an official survey done, which vindicated that the hedge was on our property. So they have destroyed our hedge which has meant that our fence is also collapsing.
Now they have been pouring concrete, and some of it has ended up in our actual garden (not the disputed area), but they are saying that that area is "their" land!!!
My husband has spoken to them, several times, and they seem to agree with our boundary, but then they keep doing exactly what they want!
I'm really pissed off now. We're at the point where we may well end up in court. I know we are in the right, but...any advice/ experience / legal advice would be most welcome!

Get injunction written up by a civil lawyer to stop all work immediately until boundary issues are sorted. Inform building inspectors if plan isn't being adhered to.

The injunction will cost the developer money and delay and is beyond awkward.

Thank you! We have been trying to be "nice" because the guy who is building the house is going to be our neighbour, but getting peed off now!
