Another multi-fuel burner...?

Afternoon...

We have a 3 bed Victorian end terrace non-cavity wall brick house. Old gas central heating. We're frugal with the heating and only have it on in lounge, dining room and bottom of stairs, and spare room.

In the lounge which is 17ft 9 x 12ft 3, the previous owner installed a 5kw Tiger multi fuel burner - we haven't used this yet as we're living upstairs whilst we have downstairs renovated.

In the Dining Room which is 14ft 5 x 12ft 3 there used to be a multi-fuel burner but previous owner removed it as it wasn't working properly and replaced it with a gas stove.

Question is - for the dining room we're thinking of getting a new 5kwt Tiger multi-fuel burner (about £800 + same to fit as quoted by local sweep and MFB supplier), but wondering if, based on the info above, we actually need to have two?

Pros: The house is cold and seems to take long to heat and once heating is off, it quickly becomes cold, because it's brick I imagine. MFB in dining room would provide additional heat which could also travel up open staircase to upper floor for additional warmth.

Cons: Expense. However we then wouldn't need heating on in lounge or dining room if we had both lit during the very cold weather (elderly parent may be coming to live with us and they keep a very warm house).

Having had a wood-burner myself in a previous property I know that they can kick out some heat.. but would we actually benefit from having a MFB in both the lounge and the dining room? Or would two be unnecessary? They look attractive and I read somewhere that they can add 5% to property value?

We're supposed to be looking at a couple of showrooms this weekend so want to pick people's brains on this before we go :-) Thanks.
