Interpreting title deeds and line of property ownership

We're currently buying a 1920s house, and I've been nosing around the paperwork this morning to see that under the section C: Charges Register it lists a name and (Purchaser) after it. But I'm not sure what that means. So if for example the paperwork says:

"C: Charges Register

  1. A Conveyance of the land in this title dated 1 May 1928 made between (1) Victor Tugelbend and others (2) Wallace Sonky (Vendor) and (3) Tiffany Aching (Purchaser) contains covenants details of which are set out in the schedule of restrictive covenants hereto"

Is it that Tiffany Aching purchased the land that the houses were built on... or that she was the first person to own/live in the house?

Because either way that would be very interesting, but I'd like to know.

Impossible to say based on that paragraph. Is there separate reference to a house/building/dwelling anywhere in the document? Was 1928 the last conveyance? While interesting it may be irrelevant if the title is registered. In which case best to look at the latest title on the gov.uk Land Registry website.

@WeAreTheHeroes That's info from the current title deed - so yes, the whole document references a single house.

I actually managed to get a free trial to Ancestry.co.uk this afternoon and looked up Tiffany Aching (well, you know, the person actually in my document) and she is listed as living at the house in 1939 with her family. Interesting stuff!
