Utility cupboard - wwyd?

Hi everyone, we have just bought a flat, with the washer/dryer in the kitchen. We have a hallway cupboard where we'd ideally like to move the washer/dryer and create a utility space. Currently it houses the hot water tank and some miscellaneous storage but we are getting a new boiler which will free up the space.

How would you arrange it? I've attached a layout - it's 1m x 1.6m, full height, door opening outwards. I'm thinking of having the washer/dryer on the left side, with a cheap small bit of worktop on top, getting some vinyl sheet flooring put in and painting all clean and white. And then having some new shelving put in.

Any ideas??

The plumber fwiw tells us it will be fine to plumb in the washer/dryer in the new space.

It would be a great advantage to add an extractor fan, since it will tend to be damp.

You can stack a tumbledrier on top of a washing machine if you like, this would give room for a sink and drainer, perhaps with a hanging line or rack above

We have a utility cupboard in the cloakroom, with double doors to it. It houses the water tank and we have the washing machine and tumble dryer stacked. DH built shelves on one side for laundry basket, iron, detergent etc.
