So pipes don't freeze and you don't break the bank. I have tried looking online but I have seen all sorts of suggestions.

15, then the day before we return 20, it never reaches 20 latelywhen set to v20, just 17, but then cuts out just at 17. This will be the first time I try this.

It feels genuinely frosty

Ours is at 15. The house is well insulted and stays warm so shouldn't need to kick on more than a couple of times a day to maintain it. Hoping to come back to a welcoming home! :)

I cannot stop laughing.

‘Don’t bother, my neighbours don’t when they go away.

P.s their house is now destroyed’

I came back to a scene from titanic this week after 3 nights away with my thermostat set to 10C. Burst pipe in loft and water pouring through my bedroom ceiling and down another two floors. Currently camping out at friends as my house currently has no lighting and no heating. I will be covered by insurance - the loss adjuster has already confirmed - but I really wish I’d just turned the water off at the stop-cock before I’d left…,

probably leave the heating on the lowest setting constantly so the place doesn’t freeze up
