Stylish storage containers????

I’m doing a big today and sort and need some stylish storage containers of different sizes - but I can only find tacubplastic ones or quite expensive ones.

can anyone recommend any stylish storage containers that don’t cost a million pounds??

thank you!

What do you need to store?
What is stylish or unstylish to you? Clear or opaque plastic? Glass? Wood or wicker?

I know tacubplastic was a typo but can you clarify what it should have said?

Storage for what?

Storage for tea and sugar that sits on the side is going to be very different from somewhere to store duvets/blankets.

Is it going to be seen on a daily basis or tucked away under a bed/in a garage?

I use a mixture of Kilner jars and Cornishware.

Sorry I completely failed to give any detail!

storage for papers, cleaning products, clothes under bed, chargers and cords etc

basically everything! I’ve just moved from a two bed to a teeny studio - it’s a challenge!!

thank you

Dunelm do decent storage choices for reasonable prices.
And ikea of course.
If you're prepared to take your time and keep going back, places like Poundland and B&M occasionally do good stuff but buy it when you see it as next week it will be gone!

Before you buy storage, declutter! And try the blogs Reading My Tea Leaves and 600 Sq Ft and Baby – both excellent for living small.

Cleaning stuff: won’t need much for a studio, surely? One multi-purpose spray to do kitchen and bathroom, maybe a window spray. Under the sink.

Chargers and cords: presumably you’re never far from what you need in a studio, so reduce down to one per piece of hardware. You can get Velcro cord ties to bundle them. Then into a kitchen drawer or a bedside table drawer?

Papers: like life admin? 99% can be shredded and recycled. I’ve got a single ring binder, the rest is all online.

Clothes under the bed: if you really can’t downsize your wardrobe, look for unserved wicker hampers or buy a storage bed with drawers.
