LVT & underfloor heating

Our builder has advised us against LVT with wet underfloor heating , as the glue melts/softens and the LVT warps. He has recommended tiles but we are not keen as it is hard under foot an v.cold (north facing) - we don’t want to have UFH just to keep the floor warm when the room does not need heating.
Any experiences of LVT with UFH?
TIA

We have UFH with tiles downstairs. I really like it. The tiles feel warm even if floor is set to 12-15°C.
We currently have the floor set to 18°C... and the room feels warm as heat rises so no issue there.

It's our 3rd year and previously the bills haven't been to bad (well see what the future hold!)

I have LVT (Karndean), no issues with UFH, still looks as good as when laid 3 years ago.

We have wet UFH with LVT. It's been fine although only been down less than a year.

All I would say though is to get your builder/plumber to talk to your flooring people. There's a lot to think about, eg new easy to lay ufh system isn't really compatible with LVT as the LVT sits on a thick layer of ply, which needs to be nailed/screwed down. We had to go with old school UFH which is more expensive to fit.

It is lurvely though! Takes a while to warm up but gets the room lovely and warm, lovely on the feet and somehow seems to warm up the whole house. Also no radiators is a bonus!
