HELP! I have mould and a cold kitchen and I’m not sure what to do to fix this problem!!

Hi, I moved into a 1930s semi detached house within the last couple of years. We are having a problem with mould on the walls. I will attach pictures. We have bleached it off and then repainted it. We’ve been away for a couple of weeks and it’s built up quite badly again.
we have no ventilation in the kitchen. The windows are just glass no opening my. There is an extractor fan on the oven but it doesn’t make much difference. The back part of the kitchen is single brick.
Im not sure whether to keep bleaching or to call in professionals. Also if professional who do you call?
we also have a bit of a milder mould problem in the bedroom upstairs. By the windows. One of the bedrooms has some polystyrene slats on the ceiling and mould is worse there.
I am a bit worried, I also want to keep the cost down. So please any help in what to do or who to call and what to ask for????
Thanks

In the first instance, get some of the plastic dehumidifiers with sodium crystals in, Amazon etc will have them, they do help with damp.
longer term, can you put in an extractor fan to the outside wall?
does the oven one go outside or just recirculate?

Also you can call your local council for advice, they’re usually v helpful

I presume you’re doing the obvious things like ventilation around showers and drying clothes?
Is there a window near the kitchen that you can open instead? Like in the room nearest? If not I wonder if you need to get a dehumidifier or get the window replaced.
Be careful with the polystyrene slats, there may be asbestos under there, so don’t remove them without advice.

Def get a dehumidifier. There are small ones on Amazon that will be fine if it's local to one room. Get anti mould
Paint as well. Not sure if you can add dye as it's white.

If and when you paint you can get anti mould paint.

I agree with the dehumidifier, my bungalow has an excessive condensation problem. I bought mine at Aldi, but understand the Meaco range are the best, not expensive to run, get the biggest one you can afford.

Have you checked your gutters? Could it be a leak from the wall outside?

If you want to get in a professional get an independent damp/timber specialist.

I had to have all the floors ripped out here and weeks later mould was growing on the skirting board :(

White vinegar kills some mould completely, try that instead of bleach.

I'm leaving windows open all the time so the air circulates through the bungalow, and use the extractor over the oven on the rare occasion I boil something. Your extractor looks tiny - could you get a larger one? Cook with the door open to the garden? I know you'd be cold but at least the water from the steam would be exiting.

You might like to post on the MSE website - there is a DIY forum and they regularly have people posting about damp. I think my dog had spores in his lungs, he started coughing shortly after I moved in here.

Do you own it or are you renting? The single brick kitchen wall will be causing a lot of problems as you'll have no insulation or cavity wall. Plus, you need a mould killer not the bleach mould removers. Something like this.
