Planning objection

Hi, hoping someone knows the answer to this!
A large developer is planning a development which will have a knock on impact on my home.
I wish to object to the plans but need an expert as I have a limited knowledge of planning, does anybody know if a I need a Planning Lawyer or a Surveyor please?
I've contacted both, both have said it's something they do but not clear which one I need and Google isn't helping.
Thanks

Ask this to be moved to property, loads of helpful advice on there but you need to give more details

You can Google planning laws which details the grounds you can have for objection.

Basically you can't just say you don't like it.

Once you know this you can find which fits your objection best and submit that on your local authority's planning portal. Anyone can do this but there will be a deadline to do it so check that out now as well.

See if others locally share your objections and get them to object as well

A planning consultant can fight your corner for you . Not cheap but depends how adverse the development is it may be worth it
