Attaching fence panels to concrete posts

Hi - searched on the net without success. I'm sure this problem isn't uncommon!
Not long ago had all new 6' x 6' new fence panels and concrete posts. What kind of bracket can you get to keep the panels firmly in place..not rattling or blowing over in strong winds..can't seem to find anything on line!! Anyone found a solution or can point me in the right direction?

I used builders strap. Plug and screwed into concrete post and then screwed into fence panel.

We just put small wedges of timber in at the edge, to ensure it was fixed and wouldn't rattle.

How about these ?

PigletJohn · 23/10/2022 19:36

Are they slotted posts?

Don't drill them. You'll encourage a crack.

Use the clips or wedges.

Thanks all (the wonders of mumsnet never fails to surprise me!)
@hesbeingabitofadick I saw these but they're for 4 x 4 - mine are 6 x 6 and only seems to be one size!@Hawkins001 These are for wooden posts 😕@JudithHarper Did you need to drill into the posts as @PigletJohn says that could crack them?
Jamming in wedges/bits of wood seems only option..unless any other suggestions..

Are you trying to stop your fence panel rattling in the concrete post slots when windy?
I had that problem and solved by adding thin strips of wood to the fence panel frame to make it thicker. Do when dry because wood expands when wet. I nailed them in place after they fell out first time round due to expansion and contraction with water.
I think better fence panels use thicker wood for the frame.

@20questions you say you can't use the clips as yours are 6x6 not 4x4; are you talking panel size or post size?

PigletJohn · 24/10/2022 00:54

Those are for wooden posts

I have a feeling @20questions has concrete slotted posts (H shaped) and needs wedge or spring clips which I can't find

PigletJohn · 24/10/2022 10:51

Found them now

Garden centres probably have them.

@20questions Our previous garden was huge and had dozens of concrete posts. Alan drilled them all and none of them cracked.

The builders strap method also prevented the panels being lifted to 'retrieve footballs' or to 'steal stuff'.
