Plumber 'making good' holes in walls?

Hi, so we hired a plumber to change the radiators in one of our rooms recently. He did a good job overall but has left holes in the wall where he's plumbed in the pipes that join the radiators to the gas pipe. We need to get the room redecorated as the old radiators have left marks on the walls etc so he said we could just get our decorator to fill in those holes, which are very noticeable and look ugly (see pic). Is this OK or is this something he should have taken care of?

Just fill it with gyprock or bondcoat then skim it.

If it wasn’t in the quote then I wouldn’t expect it to be honest. We had a builder replace a lintel in the wall above the window, had to ensure it was included so that it was replastered.

that's not something plumbers usually do.

a decorator would do a better job tbh.

Ok, thanks everyone, that's been really helpful. Good to know for another time.
