Interested in buying one but they look as though they could be removed fairly easily. Thanks in advance.

We've got one and I this it's great. They are fairly secure but someone would have to be an idiot to try and remove one, you'd have it all on camera!

Thanks so much both!

I think the greater risk is the cyber security.

There was a guy locally who stole around 13 of them earlier this year. Who knows why, Police have perfect images of him

Don't think he was ever caught either. Baffling.

What's the risk here please?

I think it’s to do with software weaknesses. As the videos are uploaded to the internet (and accessed via the internet) someone could ‘hack’ (don’t know if that’s the proper term) your camera and see all your videos. Which would tell them when you leave the house, get ideas of your routine, or who lives there etc. if the devices stop being supported in the future (because of new models), that leaves it more at risk of hacking.

They can use a wifi blocker to stop it working but they are definitely a deterrent

Oh I see, thanks.
