I’ve used Hillary’s for my whole house, twice. Always had good service. They are not cheap, but came out around a third cheaper than my local option so for me, a good deal.

Top tip though, don’t order in the spot. Say you want to think about it, and then a few days later their head office will get in touch either by text or phone call to offer you a further discount.

Old fashioned and very overpriced. Im surprised they have not gone bust!

I had a home consultation with Hilarys and I literally laughed out loud when she told me the price. We got two custom made blinds from the English Blind Company, the blinds are beautiful and high quality. We fitted them ourselves, but even if we'd paid for fitting it would have been a fraction of the Hilarys price

Terrible experience here. Check the guarantee- the mechanisms on our fabric Roman blinds gradually started breaking after about 2yrs, stuff which looked simple to mend but because they were JUST out of guarantee Hilary’s wouldn’t do anything. Not even when I offered to pay them! The wooden shutters might be better as they’re likely to be more robust but I would never use them again.

I’ve got the local dude coming on Thursday (and yes he sounded very dude like 😁). I’ve got a good feeling about him. Shall let people know the different prices frommhom
and hillary

We used Hillary’s 9 years ago for some awkward windows, and the saleswoman was good and really helpful. She advised us not to bother with the velum blinds and to buy them online and install them ourselves (which we did at a fraction of the price). The blinds that we bought were well fitted and we have been really happy with them.

The blind in my daughters room recently broke- the chain wasn’t catching the mechanism any
more. My husband sent them an email asking if they knew of anywhere we could buy a replacement part- they had one out in the post for free the next day. We were very impressed. All fixed and as good as new now!
