Design my Laundry space please

We have extended and now have a utility/laundry /boot room. I try not to use the tumble dryer so we've had clothes horses and coat hangers off the curtain rails for years and I'm very pleased that those days will be over, but I need help and recommendations please for ways and gadgets to hang the laundry to dry.
I had envisaged a couple of maidens on the ceiling and a couple of square horses on the floor, but is that the best plan?
The internet has some great looking ideas for foldaway wall mounted pull out racks and rails: are any of them worth the money and are they strong enough?
All ideas and particularly personal recommendations welcome. The drying space is approx 6x4'. Thanks!

I know this isn't what you were asking for, but these are my dream drying appliances. For when I win the lottery. (See pics)

In reality an upright heated airer, a ceiling mounted maiden and some racks that you hang things on are probably the answer...

I didn't mention that the room has a small heater low on one wall and an extractor high on the opposite wall, so what I'm trying to do is exactly what your fabulous gadget does but on a slightly bigger and less neat scale. Grin

I have a great airer I got from ikea , I can get 3 loads on it they don't seem to sell the same one but have done good ideas. If I was starting from scratch I'd 100% get the biggest Lakeland heated airer, they cost about same as a lightbulb to run apparently

I've got a wall mounted IKEA Boaxel system. It's very flexible. There are rails, airers, mesh baskets, and wire shelves which I use for sitting baskets on/ folded laundry.

I also took the pegs off a couple of cheap sock octopus hangers that I had, and hung them individually from underneath one of the high shelves to hang socks, pants, etc.

I have a dehumidifier strategically placed, but your heater and extractor would probably do this efficiently.

Closetmaid was the other brand I was looking at, but IKEA was cheaper and easier to get more parts if I want to amend my design.

I just have space in the utility for a large clothes airer and socket to plug in the dehumidifier. Works well for us!

I've always had my eye on this sort of thing - then after you can shut all the doors and it all looks tidy.

Our ceiling isn’t high enough for a pulley maid, sadly, but we’ve installed two of these wall mounted drying racks: www.gardentrading.co.uk/products/chalford-wall-dryer.html

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of these in particular for the price, however, I could quite justify stretching to the custom made versions on Etsy! Makes a huge difference having it all up off the floor though - would highly suggest that.

We also installed a hanging rail, the pole and pieces just came from B&Q, between two cabinets. Brilliant for things in hangers.

Second vote for dehumidifier!
